Why Join
Stability
With company acquisitions taking place every year, markets are dwindling. We know firsthand the importance of stable markets — Hartford, Acuity, Travelers, Montgomery, Ohio Casualty, Indiana, C. N. A., State Auto, OneBeacon, Hanover, Safeco, Encompass, ACIC, just to name a few. Our goal is to get you contracted with these carriers — not to broker business.
There is power in our numbers. We are 70 agency members strong with a goal of 100 agency members by 2012. AHA is a Regional Master Agency under a national insurance distribution network called SIAA.
Revenue
$1,300,000: That’s the Excess Compensation and Profit Sharing amount that AHA distributed to partner agencies in 2008 for 2007 and $1,000,000 in 2009 for 2008!
23.6%: That’s the average commission earned (including bonuses and company deals) by AHA partner members with some of our partner companies
We enable our members to increase revenues by:
- Accessing more markets
- Stabilizing and increasing commissions
- Satisfying company volume commitments
- Participation in deals customized for AHA and SIAA partner agencies
- Carrier relationship development
We have negotiated Excess Compensation and preferred Profit Sharing plans with all of our partnering companies. We share every dollar of that revenue with our members. We have deals in place that have paid as high as much as 10 points of additional compensation.
Mentorship
Our partner agencies are not alone—there is power in our numbers. Mentoring begins from the first day you work with our AHA staff and branches outward as our agents share their insights with one another.
- We conduct extensive coverage and sales training for personal and commercial lines.
- We assist in building sales and marketing plans to bring your agency to the next level.
- We have the staff to help with agency management issues and several discounted vendor deals in place for your automation needs.
The key is picking the right agencies and not over saturating each market. Our goal is to:
- Assist successful agencies in increasing success and/or
- Mentoring new venture independent agencies who possess a strong work ethic in reaching their own success
Whether you need additional markets or just want to make more money with the carriers you already represent, The Agents Helping Agents Network can help bring your agency to the next level.
